Bandcamp Blitz - May 28th, 2019

Howdy all! Big month over at Nerve Salad HQ. The Strippers In Love cassettes and CDs are being manufactured and pressed, etc., so before long we can hold this thing in our clammy hands! Things have been so hectic, I'm not able to get to the Blitz as timely as I would like to. But, I DID want to poke my head in and at least let everybody know what's up with everything 'round here at Nerve Salad Records!
I've kept this list short and sweet. These are a few of the things that are keeping the flames burning over here. SO much music, it's been a year of total musical chaos. Once the new Sugarfoot album drops, and the Strippers In Love CDs and tapes are here, I'm taking a damn vacation.
BLITZ ON!!

Yung Druid - Yung Druid
https://yungdruid.bandcamp.com/album/yung-druid
(Smoke-permeated riffs, classy vocals, lysergic guitars, mind-bending fuzz, and groovy psych. It did not take long for this album to grow on me and earn multiple listens right away. Oozing, psych-y stoner doom with emphasis on spiffy, snaky melodies. Highly recommended!)

Animal Bizarre - F.Y.M. EP
https://animalbizarre.bandcamp.com/album/f-y-m-ep
(Bombastic tone! Went into this totally blind, came out with a brand new set of peepers. Now I'm staring right at Animal Bizarre, all creepy-like, and wondering how the hell did they do that? Stoner rock with riffs that stick in you like burrs on your socks. Lots of jams, vox-lite, snarling attitude. Check this out and give yourself a case of the "Ooooooh!")

The Buffalo Fuzz Country Collective - The Flame Project
https://buffalofuzz.bandcamp.com/album/the-flame-project
(Just what you needed when you thought you needed something. BFCC takes it all in a new direction, keeping the fuzz alive.)

DJIIN - The Freak
https://djiin.bandcamp.com/album/the-freak
(Jazzy proggy stoner rock. Really fine album, worth a few listens to let it all sink in. VERY recommended.)

Four Lions - Hard Days
https://fourlions.bandcamp.com/album/hard-days
(Aussies making some fantastic Southern noise. Fine Americana, blues, alt-country from Down Unda, which, at this point, should surprise nobody.)

NEXT UP:
New Sugarfoot! Until then, thanks for stopping in!
